Paragliding

Paragliding is one the slowest way people can fly. Contrary to what one might think, the pilot does not jump from a mountain, cliff or plane, like for parachuting; he/she takes off from a place whose incline is high enough to allow him/her to use the rising air currents that prolong the flight for hours. A paraglide is not designed to stand a sudden opening like parachutes do. Take-off is done softly, from the ground.
