Lux Mundi
24 de setembre de 2024 — 07 de desembre de 2024
An audiovisual experience that connects cultural heritage and digital technology. A bridge between the twelfth century and the present to project a look towards the future. Four digital artists – Alba G. Corral, Desilence, Hamill Industries and MASSO – reinterpret the frescoes of the iconic apse of the church of Sant Climent de Taüll, which have been on display at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) for a hundred years.
Lux Mundi is a project curated by Antònia Folguera that combines heritage and innovation, and at the same time highlights digital creativity in Catalonia, which on this occasion allows us to recreate images from our past and project them, through art and light, into the future.
The soundtrack has been created by Tarta Relena. Their voices use the traditional songbook of the Mediterranean —and beyond— to open a portal that allows you to travel between the past and the future without moving from the present.
The combination of heritage and innovation is as inevitable as the light that allows us to recreate the images of our past.
Let the light be made!
