Presentation of the novel L’assassí del Tirant by Jordi Fernando Aloy

This Friday, November 24 at 6 p.m. we invite you to the presentation of the novel L’assassí del Tirant by the hand of the new local author Jordi Fernando Aloy.

The novel, largely written in our region and of a crime literary genre, tells us a thriller with a historical background in which a retired philologist who is finishing his thesis on Tirant lo Blanch investigates some serial murders that could be related to the work of Joanot Martorell. Once retired, Arnau Julià decided to finish his thesis on Tirant lo Blanc, which he had been putting into a corner for years. One day, by chance, he hears on the radio the case of a crime that took place in Sants in the fifties in which the victim died in an act of extreme cruelty. Near the crime scene, a message was found that Arnau identifies as a reference to the work of Joanot Martorell. This first clue leads him to meet a suspicious criminologist who keeps information about a series of murders committed at different times and places and that could be related to the work starring Tirant. Everything indicates that the doctoral student will have to face someone very meticulous, unscrupulous and with a very clear objective.
A thriller starring an obstinate philologist and his thesis supervisor that travels through different historical scenarios of the twentieth century and reveals the brutality of crimes fostered by ancestral hatred.
