La Jakaranda – Circus, Balkan & Dub Meeting

On May 16th, the Montsant Holiday House will host the first edition of La Jakaranda, a self-managed gathering dedicated to circus arts, music, folk culture and community, surrounded by the natural landscapes of Alta Ribagorça.

Throughout the day, from 11 a.m. to midnight, visitors will enjoy an open and participatory programme featuring:

• Acoustic jam sessions and Balkan folk music
• Circus space and participatory workshops
• Sound system
• Clown and community performances
• Artisan market and local products
• Community lunch and dinner
• Family activities and children’s area with giant bubbles and balance circuits

The event embraces a format without stages or hierarchies, where artists and audience share experiences and help the project grow collectively.
