Lux Mundi at Sant Climent de Taüll
03 de juliol de 2026 — 03 de juliol de 2026
On Friday, 3 July 2026, the Centre del Romànic will open the summer season with the screening of Lux Mundi at the church of Sant Climent de Taüll.
Lux Mundi is an audiovisual experience that connects cultural heritage with digital technology. It creates a bridge between the 12th century and the present, offering a look towards the future.
Four digital artists —Alba G. Corral, Desilence, Hamill Industries and MASSO— reinterpret the frescoes of the iconic apse of the church of Sant Climent de Taüll. The project, curated by Antònia Folguera, combines heritage and innovation while highlighting digital creativity in Catalonia. Through art and light, Lux Mundi recreates images from our past and projects them towards the future.
The soundtrack has been created by Tarta Relena. Their voices draw on the traditional songbook of the Mediterranean —and beyond— to open a sound portal that allows visitors to travel between past and future while remaining in the present.
