Parc de la Roca

The Vall de Boí launches the Parc de la Roca, a new outdoor space located at Pla de l’Ermita that combines nature, learning, and family fun. This initiative invites both adults and children to explore the area through a self-guided, interactive route.

What will you find at Parc de la Roca?

The itinerary is designed as a discovery trail to learn about the region’s natural heritage in a dynamic way, offering families a different morning or afternoon experience.

The route is made up of several stations equipped with interactive panels that allow visitors to discover the area by touching, observing, and sparking curiosity about nature, geology, Romanesque heritage, and the history of the region. Each panel begins with a brief explanation of the surroundings, followed by integrated hands-on elements, including images of stone textures to appreciate the differences between the valley’s rocks, rotating cubes with landscapes, and depictions of the aromatic plants native to the Pyrenees.

Alongside the panels, there are also more playful areas such as a maze, a ball slide, and land art activities. To use the circuits at each station, you will find a vending machine next to the OutdoorPark reception area where you can purchase a wooden ball for €2.

The best part is that, once you finish the trail, you can keep it as a souvenir of your visit!
