Sant Climent de Taüll

Basilica church, with three naves separated by columns. Chancel, with three semi-cylindrical apses. Attached bell tower, with a square tower and six floors.

Sculptural decoration outside the apses and the bell tower with a sawtooth frieze, blind arches and Lombard bands.

The mural paintings of the chancel with the Pantocrator, the Evangelists and the Apostles, which are preserved in the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC) in Barcelona, have been reproduced using the innovative technique of video mapping. Other restored original fragments and some reproductions can be seen in situ

The church was consecrated on December 10, 1123.
