Doc of the Month

New edition of the Doc of the Month On September 14, the Doc of the Month project will resume in Alta Ribagorça. At 7 p.m. in the Plenary Hall of the County Council, “Hágase tu Voluntad” will be screened under the direction of Adrián Silvestre. Adrián is reunited with his father, after twenty years of absence. A reunion that will transform the lives of all the members of the family.

The project aims to bring audiovisual culture closer to the greatest number of people by offering documentaries rigorously selected for their quality. In its original version and dealing with the most current issues, the aim is to bring the documentary genre closer to the largest possible number of viewers.

Adrián is reunited with Ricardo, his father, after twenty years. Ricardo, lively, hedonistic and sarcastic, sees his life collapse when he loses his partner and suffers two strokes. His physical condition and loneliness cause him depression and anxiety, which for him will only end with death. The director turns the film into his way of reconnecting and saying goodbye to his father, a bittersweet tale about the reconstruction and complexity of the bonds between parents and children.
