MNACTEC Bus

The National Museum of Science and Technology of Catalonia (MNACTEC) has launched a new itinerant museum project called MNACTEC BUS.

It is an interactive and technological space that invites the public to travel to the past, present and future of our society, to delve in an innovative way into topics such as technological advances, energy transition, culture, transport or industrial heritage. The itinerant project MNACTEC BUS. Innovation, technology and society is equipped with the technological equipment and resources necessary for the people who visit it to live a fascinating and memorable experience.

The objective of the project is to promote a new way of disseminating scientific and technological knowledge to the new generations with innovative formats, participatory experiences and with a perspective of environmental sustainability and a marked social character. Likewise, it is intended to bring the MNACTEC closer to the geographically distant public, prioritizing the populations of the rural environment of Catalonia.

The proposal is aimed at the general public and is free of charge. Free guided tours are available for concerted groups of about 50 minutes in length. It can be accessed on a free visit, also free of charge, but for reasons of capacity it is recommended that it be done in the afternoons and holidays. For the little ones there is the proposal “Optical spinning tops”.
