Casa Hortal

L’Hortal is a three-storey house built in 1985 with exposed stone walls, iron balconies and a slate slab roof, elements that harmonize with the environment and the traditional mountain aesthetics.

On the first floor, the owner’s home, there is a living room with TV, games and reading books for guests. The rest of the floors house the accommodation, which can be from two to six people. Fully equipped. Although they are rural accommodation, it is possible to rent only the rooms, all with bathrooms.

The house is located at the foot of the road in the village of Barruera, a central town in the valley, which has a pharmacy and daily doctor’s consultation among other services.

From the house you can see splendid views, both of the surroundings and of the church of Sant Feliu, thirteenth century, one of the churches of the Romanesque complex of the Valley declared by UNESCO, a World Heritage Site in November 2000.
