Romanesque route along the Traditional Paths I

Romanesque Route I (Boí – Erill la Vall – Barruera – Durro – Boí, with option Taüll)

Description of the route
The route connects several villages of the valley along traditional paths, linking the main Romanesque churches declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We leave Boí and go down to Erill la Vall, where the church of Santa Eulàlia stands out. The path continues towards Barruera, with the church of Sant Feliu, and then goes up to Durro, where we find the church of the Nativity. The return is made again to Boí to complete the circuit.

Optionally, you can extend the route to Taüll, to visit the iconic churches of Santa Maria and Sant Climent de Taüll. Also, from Durro, you can extend to the hermitage of Sant Quirc, located at a panoramic point above the valley.

Recommendations
Comfortable mountain and water shoes. Respect the cobbled paths and dry stone margins. Follow the road signs. Suitable for families with good physical preparation.
