Aigua Caldes de Boí

The Font del Bou is one of the springs that emerge naturally in the Caldes de Boí Spa. This fountain was declared of public utility in 1887 and is marketed under the name of Caldes de Boí. Its temperature at the emergency point is 28º, which is why it is classified as thermal water.

The water of Caldes is filtered through the different granite layers of the area at a depth of 3,000 meters during a process of approximately 80 years. The granitic properties of the area as well as the slow filtration process provide the water with unique properties for our health.

It is a water with weak mineralization (little dry residue) with a low calcium content which prevents the formation of stones and uric crystals in the kidneys, and with a high silica content that helps eliminate and avoid the accumulation of fats and waste, which purifies the body.
