Old Bridge of Vilaller
The Old Bridge of Vilaller is a notable heritage element located over the Noguera Ribagorzana river, which once connected the main village with the Aragón neighbourhood.
Built in the 17th century, this stone bridge was for centuries an important crossing point within the valley. Its original structure had three arches, but it was partially destroyed by the floods of 1963, which shaped its current condition.
Today, visible remains of the bridge can still be seen, offering insight into its historical importance and its integration within the riverside landscape.
Despite its state, the Old Bridge is an interesting spot to discover the history of Vilaller and understand the evolution of the territory, in a natural setting defined by the river and the Pyrenean mountains.
