The action Violence, Civil War and post-war in Pallars is based on the 69 civilian murders (of men, women, young people and the elderly) in Pallars Sobirà between May and November 1938. These people were shot without trial and buried in mass graves. It also focuses on the lives of women who survived executions (widows, sisters, mothers) and women who participated in the war from the front. From a gender perspective, the project aims to recognize, learn about and create memory around the violence that happened during the Civil War in Pallars.
Both activities have a free babysitting service, which you can book through Animation in Action (605 634 075).
