Roca d’Espà / del Racó Viewpoint

The route to the viewpoint begins at the car park located at the entrance to the village of Durro. From there, follow the signs for the Camí del Racó trail, which leads directly to the viewpoint.

The Roca d’Espà Viewpoint is reached via a demanding route. Access requires hiking along a technical mountain trail, with some sections equipped with handrails and steps.

The suspended metal viewing platform offers spectacular panoramic views over the villages of Erill la Vall and Boí, the mountains of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, the Barruera Plains, and the entrance to the Vall de Boí, with Cardet in the distance.

Please note: This viewpoint is not recommended for people with reduced mobility or those who suffer from vertigo. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. The route should also be avoided in adverse weather conditions.
