Viewpoint of Santa Maria de Cardet

Accessible viewpoint that allows you to reach under the apse of the church of Santa Maria de Cardet, considered one of the most impressive in the valley. The temple was built taking advantage of the steep slope of the mountain and the unevenness of the terrain, which allowed the creation of a small crypt inside, unique within the Romanesque complex of the Vall de Boí. From this point you can also enjoy privileged views over the Barruera plain and the Salencar natural area.

To access it, you must leave your car at the entrance to the village of Cardet and follow the signs that lead to the viewpoint, located behind the church of Santa Maria. The tour can be done in approximately 3 minutes on foot.
