Tastet de Mel

Tastet de Mel is a small beekeeping company dedicated to the collection and marketing of bee products, located in Durro, in the Vall de Boí. It collects honey in the surroundings of the Aigüestortes National Park, at a great altitude, from 1,000 to 1,750m, thus looking for pure and natural honey, packaged by hand and maintaining harvesting and handling techniques as has been done in ancient generations. In this way we obtain a unique flavor, the one we remember from the honey we ate as children, since we do not only package honey, but a part of our region.

Some of our products are: flower honey and mountain honey, pollen, honey biscuits, beeswax candles, propolis as raw material. Soon we will have honey vinegar, rosemary and orange blossom honey, products derived from propolis and royal jelly.

Guided tours are available. Visits take place from the end of June to mid-September, by appointment.
